How to join

Download a compatible emulator. Choose a Kaillera-enabled build below. The ordinary version of an emulator may not include Kaillera support.
Open its Kaillera multiplayer menu. Enter your preferred player nickname.
Find SUGaming in the public server browser. Or add a favorite / direct connection using retro.sugaming.net:27888. Some clients use port 27888 automatically.
Join or create a game room. Players must use compatible game copies, emulator settings, and versions for the specific title.
Start playing! The game runs in your emulator on your own computer, not on the SUGaming server.

Connection help

I don't see SUGaming in the server list.

Refresh the master server list, or add retro.sugaming.net:27888 as a favorite/direct server. Check you're using a Kaillera-capable build.

Do I enter the port number?

Use UDP port 27888. Some clients assume this port automatically; others expect the full address including :27888.

Can I play directly in my web browser?

Not through Kaillera. You need a compatible desktop emulator. For instant browser games, visit the SUGaming arcade.

Why can't I join somebody else's game?

Ensure everyone has compatible emulator versions, matching game content, and compatible multiplayer settings. High latency can also affect game performance.

Does SUGaming provide game ROMs?

No. SUGaming operates the multiplayer connection service. Players supply their own legally obtained game content.
